The LED power light is lit so the power is on.

Assuming that the HD is connected correctly in the enclousure
you have to still mount it to your ccomputer
You have to go to your
“control panel”
“administrative tools”
“computer management”
“disk management”
This is where you manage your hard drives jump drives and optical drives.
If it is correctly connected you drive will appear here but will have like a stop sign on it
If it is a brand new drive right click on the drive and format it to whatever you need it ntfs if it is large you can also partion it into smaller drives
If the Harddrive has data on it right click and “Activate Disk”
If your drive wasn’t there make sure that the power, ide or sata cable are plugged and the jumper settings correct I think all hard drives will tell you somewhere on the decal what the jumper settings are, this should be a master drive by the way.
hope this helps.
